Commemorative concert on the 80th anniversary of the liberation

On 8 May 2025, the Munich Philharmonic will look back not only on the day of liberation from Nazi terror and the end of a terrible world war, but also on the beginning of the history of reconciliation between Germany and Israel. To mark the occasion, the Munich Philharmonic invites members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra to perform this concert programme together under the musical direction of Lahav Shani.
